Inflatable Stoppers - Cylindrical

Inflatable Stoppers for pipes and ducts as a quick and easy way to stop the flow of gas or liquid, to stop the build up of debris and to prevent ingress of unwanted material or animals.

The versatile Pipestoppers® Inflatable Stoppers can be inserted and retracted through small holes and then inflated to full size for stopping operations. They are used to service a wide variety of industrial applications and are available in the following ranges:

The Standard Range of Inflatable Pipe Stoppers are available for immediate delivery with sizes ranging from 1 to 96″ (25 to 2440 mm).

Cylindrical Inflatable Stoppers will not invert (turn over) inside a pipe when under pressure, because they are longer than their diameter.

Spherical Stoppers are used where the position of the stopper is not important and they can be put at any angle and still make a seal.

Heat Resistant Inflatable Stoppers

The PetroChem Inflatable Stoppers are identical in appearance and performance to the Standard Inflatable Stoppers, except that the inside inflatable latex part is enclosed in a thin, flexible rubber that is resistant to the petrochemical fluids and vapours.

Heat Resistant Inflatable Covers are available with a performance rating to give protection up to a temperature of 300°C (572°F).
